TOYO TIRES presented itself at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 – 35 years of PROXES

Willich, January 19, 2026: From January 9 to 11, TOYO TIRES presented itself, as it does every year, at the Tokyo Auto Salon – the world's largest trade fair for custom vehicles. This year, the focus at the stand at the Makuhari Messe was on the OPEN COUNTRY off-road series and the sporty PROXES series. The latter is celebrating its 35th anniversary and is more powerful than ever. To mark the occasion, visitors were treated to an extensive stage program and a special event.

Numerous motorsport vehicles from the racing circuit and off-road sectors were on display at the stand as special highlights. Several rally drivers supported by TOYO TIRES answered questions during a stage talk show. Drivers from the Nürburgring Endurance Series also reported on their experiences and gave an outlook on their goals for the coming season.

However, exciting races no longer take place only on asphalt, sand, and mud, but also on virtual tracks. Gran Turismo 7 world champion Takuma Miyazono impressively demonstrated this. Visitors were also able to meet drift icons Mad Mike and Masato Kawabata in person at an autograph session.

With its appearance at the Tokyo Auto Salon, TOYO TIRES once again made a clear statement about innovation, passion for motorsports, and the diversity of its tire portfolio.
